10/23/2014 - Aggravated Robbery of Chase Bank

Synopsis: On Friday October 3, 2014 at approximately 1:30 p.m., a male suspect entered the Chase Bank located at 4703 Medical Drive.  The suspect approached a teller and said he needed to cash a check.  The suspect pulled a demand note from his pocket, unfolded it, and handed it to the teller.  The suspect then removed a large handgun from his waistband, and took an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing on foot.  The suspect resembles the same actor in the BBVA Bank robbery on Friday September 12, 2014 (SAPD14202558).

Synopsis: On Thursday October 9, 2014 at approximately 7:30 p.m., the Victim left a wallet at the checkout register of the
H.E.B. located at 8219 Marbach Rd.  A female walked up to the counter, and leaned over the wallet while paying for a soda. 
She removed the wallet, and placed it into the basket of a motorized scooter in view of the female who was driving the scooter.   The two female suspects then placed their merchandise into the scooter basket, and left the location in a black compact car.

Synopsis:  On Saturday September 13, 2014 around 5:30 a.m. police responded to the Century 21 office located in the 10900 block of Vance Jackson for an alarm. Police found two windows broken but no one inside the building. The suspect was caught on the building’s security camera as he was inside.  Upon the employees arrival to work it was discovered that the suspect had stolen a TV.

Location of offense: 4722 Rittiman (behind the vacant Royal Club)

 

Synopsis:  On Thursday September 4, 2014 at approximately 10:00 p.m. San Antonio Police responded to the 4700 block of Rittiman for a shooting. Police found Kesha Yvette Fry on the ground suffering from a gunshot wound. Kesha was transported to SAMMC by EMS where she died.

Synopsis: On Monday September 15, 2014 the Race Track Car Wash located at 4423 E. Houston St. was burglarized.  Two male suspects forced entry into the equipment room.  Once inside, the suspects attempted to break into the bill-changing machine, and damage the surveillance camera.  The camera recorded video of the suspects during the act.

Victim: Jorge Hector Torres (68)                                                          

Synopsis: On Sunday September 14, 2014 at approximately 9 p.m., a vehicle struck Jorge Torres in the 2600 block of Nacogdoches Road.  Witnesses described the vehicle as a light colored Mercury Grand Marquis.  The driver of the suspect vehicle fled the location in the suspect vehicle.  Mr. Torres suffered multiple injuries caused by the suspect.

Synopsis: On Friday September 24, 2009 at approximately 3:30 p.m., San Antonio Police received a call for a shooting at 12243 Maverick Bluff.  The Victim; Sierra Evaristo, was found inside the residence suffering from a gunshot wound caused by unknown suspect(s).  Witnesses in the area reported hearing gunshots, and observing several unknown black males leaving the location in gold four-door sedan.

Synopsis: On Friday September 12, 2014 at approximately 2 p.m., an unknown male suspect entered the BBVA Compass Bank located at 7575 Wurzbach Rd. The suspect approached a teller and placed a note on the counter.  The suspect then displayed a weapon and demanded money.  The teller complied with the suspect’s demand and placed the cash on the counter.  The suspect collected the money and fled the location.

Synopsis:  On Friday May 9, 2104 at approximately 1:17 a.m. the suspect walked up to the ATM machine located on the property of Compass Bank in the 1000 block of Goliad Road and threw a large rock at the ATM. The ATM was severely damaged. Security camera captured the suspect committing the crime. The suspect walked away from the location.

Synopsis:   On Sunday August 31, 2014 at approximately 10:15 P.M. Mr. Rudy Luna was attempting to cross W. Commerce just east of  N.W. 23rd Street when he was struck by a red pickup truck. The truck was traveling eastbound on the east bound lanes of W. commerce. The vehicle continued east on W. Commerce. The vehicle did not stop to render aid to Mr. Luna. EMS transported Mr. Luna to University Hospital where he died due to his injuries.

8/28/2014 - Burglary of Dollar General 10415 Shanefield

Offense: Burglary of Building-Intent to Commit  Theft

Synopsis: On Saturday August 23, 2014 at approximately 12:45 a.m. the Dollar General, located in the 10400 block of Shanefield Road was burglarized.  Two males suspects damaged the front door of the location and entered the business. The suspects then caused more damage inside the store while attempting to remove a locked safe.  Unable to remove the safe successfully the suspects then fled the location in a Silver Pickup Truck.  Surveillance Cameras at the location recorded the act.

Synopsis: On August 22, 2014 A Wounded Warrior who lost his legs and a hand in combat in Afghanistan recently suffered another devastating loss.  Car burglars broke into his truck in the 5800 block of Avalon Terrace.  The suspects stole an iPod which is synced to, and controls a highly advanced prosthetic hand.  Being that the Retired Staff Sergeant`s mobility is vital, the hand is a big part of his life.  The iPod has a logo similar to the one on the case in this picture.
