Synopsis: On Sunday March 23rd, 2014 at approximately 1:00 am the burglary suspect jumped over a security fence which surrounded a kiosk inside River Center Mall. Once the suspect jumped the fence he stole numerous items from the business. The culprit also made a futile attempt to open a safe. Security camera captured an image of the suspect as he was burglarizing the kiosk.

4/2/2014 - Aggravated Robbery Shell Timewise

Synopsis:  On March 27, 2014 at approximately 7:38 PM, two males entered the Shell Timewise convenience store located in the 200 block  of Crossroads Blvd. in Balcones Heights, TX. One of the males was armed with a machete and approached two cashiers and a customer, while the second suspect acted as a look out and held the door open.  The armed suspect held the machete in the air and demanded money from the cashiers and the customer.  Fearing for their lives the victims complied and gave the suspect an unknown amount of cash.  Both suspects then fled in a dark colored newer model Chevy Camaro with white stripes.

3/21/2014 - Aggravated Robbery Dollar General

Complainant: Dollar General  
Synopsis: On Saturday February 15, 2014 at approximately 7:00 AM, a male suspect entered the Dollar General at 10103 Roosevelt.  The suspect possessed an assault rifle and as he entered the store he fired a round into a display counter.  The suspect demanded money and cigarettes from the employee.  The employee complied with the suspects demands.  The suspect then fled the store with cigarettes and a undisclosed amount of money.  The male is a Hispanic male approximately 5’9” – 6’ with a slim build, and is
18 – 25 years of age.

                          San Antonio Police Department
Synopsis:  On Saturday, March 1, 2014, at approximately 1:49 am, a green, 4dr, Ford, Taurus, occupied by three male suspects pulled into the parking lot of the Exxon gas station located at 2311 Babcock Road, San Antonio, Texas. Two suspects entered the Exxon and stole property from the store. Suspect #1 committed the theft while Suspect #2 acted as the "look out." University of Texas Health Science Center Police responded and pursued the suspect vehicle as it fled. The suspects were able to avoid apprehension when the pursuit became a danger to the public.  Suspect #1 is a White or Hispanic male, 5`08 to 5`09, 160-170 lbs, 18-20 years old, black bushy hair, wearing a white t-shirt under a gray long sleeve Henley style two button pullover, dark colored pants, and tan boots. Suspect #2 is a Hispanic male, 5`08 to 5`09, 160-170 lbs, 18-20 years old, short dark hair, light mustache, wearing a black `New York Yankees" baseball cap with camouflage rim, black t-shirt, silver necklace with pendant, black pants, white tennis shoes with red trim, a tattoo on the inside of his left forearm, with a black bracelet on his left wrist

Synopsis:  On Saturday, February 22nd , 2014, between the approximate hours of 6:45 PM and 9:30PM, two unknown males broke into the Wheatley Community Complex Concession stand and stole several concession grocery items. The two suspects pried open vents to the entry door to gain entry and once inside the suspects stole over $850 worth of concession products. One suspect was caught on surveillance video while committing the crime.

Synopsis:  On Thursday March 6, 2014 at approximately 10:30 a.m. the suspect pictured above entered the Select Federal Credit Union located at 1914 IH-35 N.  The suspect approached a teller working at a service window, displayed a gun, and demanded money.  The teller fearing for her life complied and gave the suspect money.  The suspect then walked out of the location.

Synopsis:  On Wednesday February 05, 2014, at approximately 9.P.M. a 26 year old female was walking her dog in the 300 block of Kampmann in Alamo Heights. The female was approached by two Hispanic males driving a dark colored pick-up truck. The male passenger got out of the pickup truck and grabbed the victim from behind, attempting to force her into the vehicle. The victim began kicking the suspect who then punched her in the face. The victim was released. The suspect reentered the truck and left the area.

Synopsis:   On Tuesday February 18th, 2014 at approximately 5:46 P.M. Mr. Richard Stansbery was walking southbound in the 5700 block of Knoll Crest when he was struck by a gray 2003 Dodge four-door pickup truck. The vehicle had flashing red and white lights on its dashboard and paper license plates. After striking Mr. Stansbery the vehicle fled the location failing to stop and render aid. Mr. Stansbery died days later from his injuries.

Synopsis:  On Monday February 24, 2014 between the hours of 3:15 P.M. and 3:30 P.M. two vehicles rented out by the complainant were burglarized while parked at the parking lot of a shopping center located at  8223 Hwy 151. The suspect gained entry into the vehicles and stole property worth over $10,000 belonging to the complainant and a   youth soccer team from Mexico. The suspect was caught by security cameras walking out of the Target store located at the address. The suspect had made a purchase with a gift card stolen from the complainant and the soccer team.

2/27/2014 - Aggravated Robbery Saltgrass Steakhouse

Offense: Aggravated Robbery                         SAPD14035207      

Complainant:  Saltgrass Steakhouse             16910 US Hwy 281N

Synopsis:  On Sunday February 16th, 2014 at approximately 2:00 A.M 2 employees of the Saltgrass Steakhouse located at 16910 US Hwy 281N were leaving the restaurant after closing. As they were walking away a suspect approached the female employees and at gunpoint demanded they unlock the doors to the restaurant. Fearing for their safety, the employees did as the suspect ordered. The suspect then demanded the employees turn off the alarm or he would shoot them. One of the employees was unable to disarm the alarm at which time the suspect shot the other employee.  When the employee at the alarm key pad heard the gunshot she ran towards an exit and was also shot by the suspect. The suspect was last seen running north from the location. One employee was transported to the hospital by EMS; the other employee was treated at the scene. The suspect was described as a tall black male wearing a mask, gray hoodie, baggie jeans, white sneakers and multi-colored boxer shorts.

Synopsis:  On Tuesday December 3, 2013 between the hours of 10:58 A.M. and 11:15 A.M. The complainant’s residence was burglarized while they were away. Security cameras placed at the residence were able to record the incident. The burglars drove by the location several times in their white truck before they stopped to knock on the door to check if anyone was at home. The suspects then used a crowbar to forcibly enter the house and burglarize the residence. The burglars then drove off from the location.

Synopsis: On Wednesday November 27th, 2013 at approximately 6:45 p.m. Gregory Nicholas Rios was struck by an unknown vehicle as he was attempting to cross the 4400 block of S. Flores. Gregory was walking from west to east and was struck when he reached the northbound lanes. The vehicle that struck Gregory was possibly a Pontiac Gran Prix. The vehicle failed to stop and was last seen traveling north on S. Flores. EMS transported Gregory to the hospital due to his serious bodily injuries.
