Synopsis: On Friday September 12, 2014 at approximately 2 p.m., an unknown male suspect entered the BBVA Compass Bank located at 7575 Wurzbach Rd. The suspect approached a teller and placed a note on the counter.  The suspect then displayed a weapon and demanded money.  The teller complied with the suspect’s demand and placed the cash on the counter.  The suspect collected the money and fled the location.

Synopsis: On Monday, August 18, 2014 at approximately 10:20 p.m., the body of Quinton Jones was discovered at 4830 Ray Bon Drive.  The Victim, Quinton Jones suffered multiple gunshot injuries caused by unknown suspect(s).

Synopsis:  On Tuesday September 2nd, 2014 at approximately 7:00 p.m. an elderly customer of the convenience store accidently left his car keys on a counter at the store. An unknown make picked up the complainant’s keys and walked out the store. The suspect then drove off with the complainant’s vehicle.

Synopsis:  On Friday May 9, 2104 at approximately 1:17 a.m. the suspect walked up to the ATM machine located on the property of Compass Bank in the 1000 block of Goliad Road and threw a large rock at the ATM. The ATM was severely damaged. Security camera captured the suspect committing the crime. The suspect walked away from the location.

Synopsis:   On Sunday August 31, 2014 at approximately 10:15 P.M. Mr. Rudy Luna was attempting to cross W. Commerce just east of  N.W. 23rd Street when he was struck by a red pickup truck. The truck was traveling eastbound on the east bound lanes of W. commerce. The vehicle continued east on W. Commerce. The vehicle did not stop to render aid to Mr. Luna. EMS transported Mr. Luna to University Hospital where he died due to his injuries.

8/28/2014 - Burglary of Dollar General 10415 Shanefield

Offense: Burglary of Building-Intent to Commit  Theft

Synopsis: On Saturday August 23, 2014 at approximately 12:45 a.m. the Dollar General, located in the 10400 block of Shanefield Road was burglarized.  Two males suspects damaged the front door of the location and entered the business. The suspects then caused more damage inside the store while attempting to remove a locked safe.  Unable to remove the safe successfully the suspects then fled the location in a Silver Pickup Truck.  Surveillance Cameras at the location recorded the act.

Synopsis: On August 22, 2014 A Wounded Warrior who lost his legs and a hand in combat in Afghanistan recently suffered another devastating loss.  Car burglars broke into his truck in the 5800 block of Avalon Terrace.  The suspects stole an iPod which is synced to, and controls a highly advanced prosthetic hand.  Being that the Retired Staff Sergeant`s mobility is vital, the hand is a big part of his life.  The iPod has a logo similar to the one on the case in this picture.

Synopsis: On Monday August 4, 2014 at approximately 12:30 a.m. the Radio Shack located at 11600 Bandera Rd. was burglarized.  Two suspects, one male and one female used an unknown object to break the glass entrance door and force their way inside.  The suspects then entered the store where they shattered glass display cases containing various small electronics.  The suspects removed  the merchandise

and then fled the location.  Surveillance cameras inside the store recorded the act.

Synopsis: On Monday June 2nd, 2014 at approximately 11:20 p.m. Robert Blanton was driving westbound on Hays St. with a female passenger. While in the 1400 block of Hays St. Robert’s vehicle came under gunfire. Robert suffered numerous wounds and died at the hospital.

Synopsis:  On Thursday July 24, 2014 at approximately 12:40p.m. a male victim was waiting for a bus at the intersection of E. Commerce and Soledad when he noticed a young female  being harassed by the suspect.  The victim told the suspect to leave the young lady alone. The suspect ignored the victim and continued to pester the woman.  The victim again told the suspect to leave the female alone. The suspect became upset and attacked the victim with a knife. The suspect then fled from the location. Cameras on a nearby Via bus recorded the suspect at the location.

Offense: Attempted Sexual Assault                    SAPD14145716                                                                                                                                                                       Synopsis: On Saturday July 5, 2014 at approximately 3:30 a.m. a male suspect entered the Walgreen’s Pharmacy located at 138 S.W. Military Dr.  The suspect loitered inside the store until he saw a female walking towards the restrooms.  The suspect waited for the female to enter, then forced his way inside the restroom. The suspect displayed a weapon and made it known to the victim that he intended to sexually assault her.  The victim screamed and a witness went to help. Together the victim and witness were able to stop the attack.  The suspect then fled the location with possible injuries.

Needed to solve the case:  Identification and location of two suspects.

 Location of offense:   326 N. Zarzamora

 

Synopsis:  On Saturday July 12, 2014 at approximately 10:00 p.m. the two suspects entered the Serda Mart Store located in the 300 block of N. Zarzamora and stole two cases of beer. As the suspects fled the location one of the suspects left behind a shoe. At around 10:30 p.m. both suspects returned to the store demanding the shoe. One of the suspects was in possession of a knife. An altercation between the suspects and the store employees ensued outside the store. One of the suspects stabbed the victim in the torso with the knife. The suspect dropped the knife and other personal property as they ran from the scene.

7/18/2014 - Murder Victim Javier Ramos

Synopsis:   On Sunday, December 6, 2009 at approximately

2 a.m., San Antonio Police were dispatched to an address in the 5200 block of Overpool for a shooting.  The victim, Javier Ramos, was home alone when someone kicked in the back door to his residence and shot him.  Javier Ramos was pronounced dead at the scene as a result of his injuries.  It does not appear anything was taken from the residence.  Homicide Investigators are asking for witnesses who may have heard or seen anything to please call.

7/16/2014 - Forgery and Fraud Macy`s Department Stores

Synopsis: On Thursday July 3, 2014 a forgery occurred at the Macy’s Department Store inside South Park Mall.  A salesperson working at the jewelry display case was approached by an unknown female suspect.  The female suspect selected several pieces of jewelry, paid for the items by check, and then left with the merchandise.  It was later discovered that the check was forged.  Later that day, employees at the Macy’s Department Store inside North Star Mall recovered one of the items illegally obtained by the female suspect.  An unknown male suspect presented the item, claimed he had purchased it, and wanted to return it.  The unknown male left the store and the item when approached by a manger.   Surveillance cameras at both locations recorded the suspects during the act.  Investigators believe both suspects were working together.
