Complainant: Alfredo Giddens Jr.                                        51 Years old

 

Needed to solve the case: Information leading to the identification and location of the suspect(s) responsible for the murder.

 

Location of offense: 1001 S. Gevers

 

Synopsis: On Wednesday October 1, 2014 at approximately 9:50 a.m. Alfredo Giddens was shot as he sat in his car in the 1000 block of S. Gevers. Alfredo was transported to SAMMC by EMS but died due to his injuries. Two female suspects were seen fleeing the scene in an SUV.

Offense: Evading-Vehicle & Failure to Stop and Render Aid         

Synopsis: On Sunday November 16, 2014 at approximately 2:30 a.m., San Antonio Police Bike Patrol Officers observed a vehicle traveling the wrong direction in the 400 block of  E. Commerce Street.  Officers attempted to stop the vehicle, but the driver refused to stop.  The suspect driver fled, hitting a uniformed Officer with the vehicle.  The Suspect was described as an Hispanic Male approximately 25-35 years old with tattoos on both arms, and gold trim around the edges of his teeth.  The suspect vehicle was described as a 2000-2005 Blue Chevrolet Monte Carlo.

Synopsis: On Saturday November 15, 2014 at approximately 6 p.m. a robbery occurred at the Insurance 4 Less located at 1132 Rayburn Dr.  A male and female suspect entered the business and approached an employee.  The male suspect demanded money from the register and threatened to harm the employee.  The employee complied and both suspects left the location with an undisclosed amount.

Synopsis: On Sunday October 26, 2014 a male suspect entered the Arlan’s Market located at 2118 S. Zarzamora St. The suspect collected several items, and left the store without paying.  An employee followed the suspect, and asked the suspect to return the merchandise.  The suspect responded by punching the employee, and knocking him to the ground, where he continued punching the employee.  The suspect then fled from the location with the property.

Synopsis: On Friday September 26, 2014 at approximately 5:30 p.m. the suspect walked into the EZ Pawn located in the 1000 block of Fair Avenue and asked an employee to see a ladies’ diamond ring. When another customer walked up to the employee to ask him a question, the suspect ran out of the store with the ring in his possession. The suspect was last seen running from the location.

Location of offense: 3000 Block of Morales

 

Synopsis:   On Wednesday December 14, 2005 at approximately 12:45 a.m. Luis Nava was exiting a parked vehicle at the 3000 block of Morales. As he was exiting the vehicle, three vehicles passed by and shot at Luis. He was severely wounded and transported to the hospital where he died.

Synopsis:  On Sunday November 4th, 2007 at approximately 2:00 a.m. Joe Trevino was at a party in the 300 block of Landa. An argument ensued over beer among many of the party attendees. The party host threw out some uninvited guests and another argument began outside. Shots were fired towards Joe and a crowd. Joe was wounded and died of his injuries.

Synopsis: On Tuesday October 7, 2014 at approximately 4:30 a.m., the Plaza De Ville Apartments leasing office  was burglarized.  Video cameras recorded the two male suspects also fishing envelopes from the community mailboxes located at 5903 Eckhert Road.

Synopsis:  On Thursday October 16, 2014 the victim accidently left her purse at the restaurant. Someone turned the purse to the restaurant staff. The suspect had been at the restaurant and possibly seen the victim leave the purse. She went to the restaurant counter and asked if anyone had found a purse, leading the staff to believe she was the purse’s owner. The staff gave the suspect the purse and she left the location with the purse.

Needed to solve the case: Information leading to the identification and location of the suspect(s) responsible for the murder.

 

Location of offense: 4000 SW Loop 410 SB

 

Synopsis:   On Sunday August 24, 2014 at approximately 1:45 a.m. Casey Blanton and a passenger were traveling southbound on the 4100 block of SW Loop 410, when a silver Dodge pickup truck pulled up next to the vehicle driven by Casey. Someone from the suspect vehicle fired a shot into Casey’s vehicle, striking him and causing him to wreck into a center median. Casey was transported to the hospital but died days later.

The suspect vehicle is described as a Silver Dodge 4 door pickup truck with a Spurs logo in the rear window and the word “Recruiter” on the driver’s side of the truck.

Synopsis: On Friday October 3, 2014 at approximately 1:30 p.m., a male suspect entered the Chase Bank located at 4703 Medical Drive.  The suspect approached a teller and said he needed to cash a check.  The suspect pulled a demand note from his pocket, unfolded it, and handed it to the teller.  The suspect then removed a large handgun from his waistband, and took an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing on foot.  The suspect resembles the same actor in the BBVA Bank robbery on Friday September 12, 2014 (SAPD14202558).

Synopsis: On Thursday October 9, 2014 at approximately 7:30 p.m., the Victim left a wallet at the checkout register of the
H.E.B. located at 8219 Marbach Rd.  A female walked up to the counter, and leaned over the wallet while paying for a soda. 
She removed the wallet, and placed it into the basket of a motorized scooter in view of the female who was driving the scooter.   The two female suspects then placed their merchandise into the scooter basket, and left the location in a black compact car.

Synopsis:  On Saturday September 13, 2014 around 5:30 a.m. police responded to the Century 21 office located in the 10900 block of Vance Jackson for an alarm. Police found two windows broken but no one inside the building. The suspect was caught on the building’s security camera as he was inside.  Upon the employees arrival to work it was discovered that the suspect had stolen a TV.

Location of offense: 4722 Rittiman (behind the vacant Royal Club)

 

Synopsis:  On Thursday September 4, 2014 at approximately 10:00 p.m. San Antonio Police responded to the 4700 block of Rittiman for a shooting. Police found Kesha Yvette Fry on the ground suffering from a gunshot wound. Kesha was transported to SAMMC by EMS where she died.
