Location of offense: 4515 Gardendale Synopsis: On March 11th 2012 officers in the area of 4515 Gardendale were flagged down for an injured male. Witnesses reported hearing ?Screeching tires followed by an impact sound?. Another witness stated they believe the driver of a Ford F250 pickup truck struck Robert Hale III who was found face up in the roadway, bleeding from a severe head injury. Robert succumbed to his injuries and later died. The above photo of the vehicle is a replica of the suspect vehicle. The actual suspect vehicle had numerous ?Ranch Hand? accessories to include the ?Headache Rack?, toolbox and a grill guard. All accessories were painted to match the trim on the truck.
