Needed To Solve This Case:
On Thursday July 3, 2014 a forgery occurred at the Macys Department Store inside South Park Mall. A salesperson working at the jewelry display case was approached by an unknown female suspect. The female suspect selected several pieces of jewelry, paid for the items by check, and then left with the merchandise. It was later discovered that the check was forged. Later that day, employees at the Macys Department Store inside North Star Mall recovered one of the items illegally obtained by the female suspect. An unknown male suspect presented the item, claimed he had purchased it, and wanted to return it. The unknown male left the store and the item when approached by a manger. Surveillance cameras at both locations recorded the suspects during the act. Investigators believe both suspects were working together.
