SAPD15163064 Failure to Stop and Render Aid- Death 281 at Jones Maltsberger

Synopsis:
On July 30th, 2015, the Victim was the right rear passenger of a gray Chevy HRR northbound on the access road of US 281 and was stopped for a red light at the intersection of Jones Maltsberger. The driver of a black pickup (unknown license plate) was traveling northbound on the access road of US 281 and crashed into the rear of the Chevy HRR pushing it into the middle of the intersection. The driver of the black pickup fled the scene northbound on US 281 and did not render aid or provide any information to the Victim. The Victim was transported to University Hospital where she passed away on August 1st. The black pickup will have some type of brush guard or push bumper to the frontend and could have gray paint transfer on it.
