Synopsis: At approximately 8:30 pm on Saturday March 5th, 2016 Marcus Cummings was shot to death in the 8800 block of Meadow Trace. Marcus was standing outside in his front yard talking to friends when a dark colored truck or SUV drove past the location and fired multiple gunshots at him. Marcus was struck multiple times by the gun fire and died from his injuries. A 17 year old female who was an innocent by-stander was also struck by the gun fire. The 17 year old female was transported to the hospital where she was treated for gunshot wounds and is recovering. The motive for the shooting is unknown at this time.
