Synopsis:
At approximately 10:15 pm on April 16, 2018 the victim, Majdi Ammary, was riding a 2007 Yamaha Majesty Scooter westbound on the westbound access road of the 3900 block of NW Loop 410 when a 2001-2005 Honda Civic (with a sun roof) possibly gray, who was traveling at a high rate of speed, struck the scooter from behind. The driver of the Civic fled the location without stopping to render aid or provide any of their identifying information. Majdi Ammary, who was the driver of the scooter, was transported to University Hospital where he was pronounced deceased a short time later. The suspect vehicle should have front passenger side damage.
