Synopsis:
On December 18, 2017 at approximately 7:20 p.m., the victim was playing in the roadway unsupervised when an unknown vehicle that was travelling westbound in the 2200 block of Hicks and struck the victim. The suspect vehicle did not stop, stay, render aid, or provide any identifying information. It is unknown how long the victim was in the roadway before and after the crash. The victim was transported to University Hospital with life threatening injuries to her body, legs, and head via EMS before succumbing to her injuries on December 23, 2017.
