On Monday June 18, 2018, two Hispanic males entered the Target Store. Both suspects were recorded on the stores surveillance taking items and placing them into backpacks. Both suspects passed all points of sale making no attempt to pay for the backpacks or the merchandise concealed within. A store employee approached both suspects and attempted to conduct a sales receipt check of the merchandise. One of the suspects lifted the front of his shirt and showed the employee he was carrying a black handled handgun tucked in his waistband. The employee felt threatened and feared for her safety, and the safety of other Target employees. The employee stepped out of the suspect’s way and allowed them to leave with the unpaid merchandise.
