On June 25, 2018, the Black male suspect pictured above walked into Covington Credit and inquired about getting a loan. The suspect was told it was after business hours and to return the following day. One of the employees approached the suspect to hand him a business card, at which point the suspect told the employee he wasn’t there for a loan, he was there to rob the business. The suspect threatened the employees with a knife he was carrying inside his waistband and demanded all of the money from the business. The employees responded by giving the suspect a single money bag with an undisclosed amount of money. Afterward, the suspect walked out with the stolen money bag and was last seen fleeing west on foot from the location.
