Synopsis:
On Saturday July 21, 2018, a Hispanic male entered the Express Mart #3 at 1105 Ferndale. The suspect purchased sodas, and made several unsuccessful attempts to withdraw money from the ATM. The suspect then tackled an employee behind the sales counter. The suspect beat the employee to the ground, displayed a knife in his waistband, and threatened to stab the store employee. The suspect then demanded the money from the cash register. The suspect pushed the employee into a corner, pulled the employee’s hair, and continued threatening the employee even after taking the money from the register. The suspect then fled in what is believed to be a white 2004 Kia Spectra GSX.
