Synopsis:
On Monday July 8, 2019, at 9:28 p.m., victim Carolina Villanueva was walking home from the store with her adult son. Carolina Villanueva had almost made it home to her residence when she was struck by a white car that was traveling westbound on Chicago Blvd. The white car fled the scene after striking Carolina Villanueva. The crash occurred in front of her son. Carolina Villanueva was transported to SAMMC, where she was pronounced deceased at 10:03 p.m. on July 8, 2019. Police need assistance in identifying the white car, believed to be a Nissan sedan, that struck the Complainant and fled the scene.
