On Sunday, April 9, 2017, at approximately 3:12 a.m., SAPD was dispatched to the 4000 block of Moss Spring for shots fired in the area.  Upon officer’s arrival, a crime scene was discovered but there were no victims.  While on the scene more calls were received regarding gunshot victims at South Park Mall.  Officers responded to South Park Mall and discovered several males suffering from gunshot wounds inside a truck and Soto as pronounced deceased at the scene.  Three other victims were discovered shot and transported to the hospital in critical condition. Witnesses reported the victims attended an after prom party located off the 4000 block of Moss Spring.  Witnesses reported as the victims attempted to drive away from the party a young Hispanic male and young Black male fired multiple shots into the victim’s truck.
