On Thursday, April 16th, 2020, at 11:51 a.m. Bexar County Sheriff’s Office Deputies were dispatched to the 2100 block of E. Loop 1604 S for an injured person. Upon arrival, it was determined that the pedestrian was struck by a vehicle. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene without stopping to render aid for the victim. The vehicle is believed to be a 2015 Toyota Avalon four-door sedan, maroon in color with front right damage as well as side damage, and missing a passenger-side mirror. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. BCSO Traffic Homicide Investigators are now in need of information about this crash, about the vehicle of interest, or information on the identity of those responsible.
