Synopsis:
On Monday, October 11, 2021, at 7:00 am, Javier Mendoza was in route to work when he was flagged down by two unknown suspects. The victim stopped to speak to the suspects and the victim was shot. The victim then crashed his vehicle on the 1600 block of Hermine Blvd. It is believed the suspects were attempting to steal the victim’s vehicle and it is believed that one of the suspects may not have known that the suspect who shot was going to shoot into the vehicle. The suspects may be familiar with the area and frequent the area on their daily travel.
