Synopsis:
On Monday, December 26, 2022 at approximately 7:16 pm, the Driver of a silver truck was traveling eastbound on the 1300 block of Buena Vista. Darrell Gerard Bergeron was not at a pedestrian crosswalk, crossed the street from south to north and was struck by the silver truck. The silver truck fled eastbound on Buena Vista. EMS arrived at the scene and Mr. Darrell Gerard Bergeron was pronounced deceased. The Driver of the silver truck, when found, will be charged with one count of Failure to Stop and Render Aid – Death.
