Synopsis:
On Sunday, January 22, 2023, about 6:45 p.m., Brandon Caldwell arrived at The Ivy Apartments, 4550 Lavender Lane, to contact his ex-girlfriend in Building #19. Brandon arrived in a van and parked in a small parking lot across from buildings #19/20. Brandon confronted the girl’s current boyfriend at the apartment and was involved in a minor physical altercation. As Brandon walked to the van, he realized he lost some jewelry during the fight and returned to the apartment area to look for it. As Brandon walked to the van again an unknown shooter fired multiple shots from the side of the apartment building closest to the van. Brandon died at the scene.
