Synopsis:
On Tuesday, July 18th 2023, an Edgewood ISD police officer attempted a traffic stop on the suspect who was driving recklessly. The suspect refused to stop and drove into a St. Mary's University gate causing damage. The suspect continued and wrecked the suspect vehicle at the intersection of Bangor St. and Maiden Ln. The suspect then reversed and struck the officer's patrol vehicle. The suspect pointed a rifle out of the vehicle and fired multiple times in the officer's direction and fled on foot. The suspect was described as a Hispanic male with possible tattoos covering his body and may go by the name "Steve" or "Stevey." The suspect may be with a blonde heavyset female. The suspect was driving the vehicle portrayed in the attached photo.
