Failure To Stop And Render Aid- SBI/Death

Information leading to the identification and location of the suspect(s) responsible for the Failure to Stop and Render Aid-Death.
Synopsis:
On Wednesday August 16, 2023, at approximately 9:26 PM, Brandon Dwayne Hutson was fatally injured in a hit-and-run incident while walking along the access road in the 17200 block of IH-35 S. Despite the efforts of EMS, Brandon was transported to University Hospital and succumbed to his injuries sustained by the collision. The suspect failed to stop and render aid and fled from the scene.
The Bexar County Sheriff's Office Traffic Safety Unit identified key evidence from the scene, including vehicle parts linked to a 2006-2010 Ford Explorer. A witness reported seeing a light-colored SUV that slowed down after the collision before fleeing at a high rate of speed.
