Synopsis:
The Live Oak Police Department is seeking assistance with identifying the occupants of a silver/grey Chevrolet four door truck depicted in the attached photo. On Wednesday May 14, 2025 at approximately 6:00 PM, a suspect in this truck discharged a firearm several times at a Mazda Miata at the intersection of IH 35 Frontage Rd./ Pat Booker Rd. The Miata was struck several times by gunfire, and the driver was shot resulting in serious injury. The victim was taken to an area hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
