Synopsis:
The Live Oak Police Department is seeking assistance with identifying the occupants of a silver/grey Chevrolet four door truck depicted in the attached photo. On Wednesday, 05/14/2025 at approximately 6:00 PM the unknown suspect in this truck discharged a firearm several times at a Mazda Miata while at the intersection of Pat Booker Road and IH 35 South Frontage. The Miata was struck several times by gunfire, and the driver was shot resulting in serious injury. The victim was taken to an area hospital where he later died as a result of his injuries.
