Synopsis:
On Saturday July 5, 2025 around 4:05 AM, Israel Uriegas was sitting in his vehicle parked at the Oakstone Apartments located on 2600 NE Loop 410 when approached by four suspects who demanded his vehicle. A suspect shot the victim and all four suspects fled in a black Kia Soul. Israel Uriegas was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Investigators located suspect vehicle to be a 2014 Kia Soul with Texas tag RBF4520. On Thursday July 3, 2025, the vehicle was stolen from 11200 Perrin Beitel Rd. and driven around a couple days before the shooting. On Friday July 4, 2025, the vehicle was seen around 9:27 AM on Houston near Highway Dr. On Saturday July 5, 2025 around 1:04 AM, it was seen on Foster Rd. northbound toward IH-10E.
