Synopsis:
On Saturday, October 17, 2026, at approximately 2:09 AM, Juan Sabas Reyes was traveling on his motorcycle southbound along the 2200 block of US Hwy 281 when he was struck by a white pickup truck. The driver of the truck initially stopped, but then fled in his truck as emergency vehicles began to arrive. The driver of the truck fled the area before police arrived. Reyes succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced at the scene.
