On July 7, 2024, at approximately 2137 hours police and EMS were dispatched to Sonic Drive-In located at 5510 Babcock Rd. for a shooting.  When police arrived, they found Daniel Lacy Shrewsbury (Sonic Manager) shot in the chest and unresponsive.  Daniel Shrewsbury eventually passed away at scene. 

Daniel was shot by Adiah Namir Roberson, a customer who had created a disturbance over counterfeit money she had passed and stealing money. 

When Daniel was arriving to work, he learned Adiah Namir Roberson had taken money from an employee.  Daniel went outside to take a photo of the suspect vehicle’s license plate before they drove off.  Joshua Joseph, who was with Adiah Roberson, became upset and threaten to assault Daniel and warned him he was going to get shot.  Adiah exited the suspect vehicle with a gun and shot Daniel Shrewsbury. 

An arrest warrant has been issued for Adiah Namir Roberson and has eluded law enforcement since then.  San Antonio Police are looking for any information on Adiah Namir Roberson’s whereabouts.  

Adiah Namir Roberson is wanted for Murder and Forgery Govt/National Inst/Money/Security.
