Synopsis:
On Wednesday, February 3, 2021, Balcones Heights was dispatched to the Sol Apartments located in the 6900 Block of IH 10 W for a suspicious vehicle. Upon arrival Balcones Heights Police Sgt. Sepulveda contacted the two suspects inside of a white Dodge dually pickup truck. Sgt. When Sepulveda contacted the driver and a brief struggle ensued. A rear passenger in the vehicle then pointed a handgun outside of the rear driver side door window, and discharged several rounds at the Sergeant, critically wounding him. Wilfredo Montemayor has been identified as one of the suspects and is wanted on the below listed Bexar Co. Warrants.
